Places to Visit in Jacksonville
Jax Ale Trail – The Jax Ale Trail gives craft beer loves the chance to explore multiple local craft breweries, as well as the Budweiser Brewery. There are 10 breweries on the trail for you to get a taste of Jacksonville. There is a brew bus that can safely take you to each brewery you’d like to try out. Kathryn Abbey Hanna Park – This is a 1.5-mile city park and beach. It’s in Mayport in the Jacksonville Beaches area at 500 Wonderwood Drive. This park has 447 acres of coastal hammock. The park has BMX trails, 15 miles of off-road bike trails, 300 campsites (tent camping, RV spaces, and small cabins), picnic tables, grills, a water playground, a visitor center, a shuffleboard court, a volleyball court, benches, restrooms, and a freshwater lake where people can fish, kayak, paddle, canoe, boat, and more. The park is open seven days a week from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m April to October and 8 a.m. to 6 p.m November to March. Pedestrians cost $3 and it’s $5 per car (up to six people).
